On y entendra quatre enfants du pays, Charles Lebrun (maire de Jouillat), Georges Dauger, Maurice Pissalou et Daniel Lannet nous livrer successivement (et parfois dans un joyeux brouhaha) leurs impressions sur le « patois » et ses variantes dialectales, sur sa disparition et l’attachement qu’ils lui témoignent. Sans doute une partie de l'enregistrement initial à partir duquel fut construite l'émission <a href="https://la-biaca.org/admin/items/show/393" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"> "Chez Nous" de mars 1961.</a> Une belle suite de morceaux du répertoire de ces musiciens : Valses, marches, mazurkas, giattes, bourrées, polkas, etc ... Eugène, le père, surnommé "Burette", joue de la vielle à roue et son fils René de la cornemuse 16 pouces Jean Jacques Le Creurer, musicien, enseignant et collecteur infatiguable nous précise : - plage 1 : "Mignonne". Sans doute une chanson des années 20/30 - plage 2 : "la Yoyette" - plage 3 : c'est une danse à base de pas de polka assez locale (sur le sud-est de la Creuse : de Giat à La Nouaille) : "le Père Counaud" (lo païr Conaud volia dansar, mas sa doas chambas voliats pas'nar, qu'es lo Païr Conaud que dansa mau) - plage 4 : Mazurka " le matin quand je me lève" incipit des paroles (la suite : je demande à mon mari qu'il me balaie la chambre et qu'il me fasse le lit. Autre couplet : ah qu'elles sont bêtes les femmes d'obéir à leur mari, j'en ai un comme les autres jamais je lui obéi ...). Paroles données par le père Thomas. - plage 5 : giatte - plage 6 : bourrée : il me l'avais jouée et chantonné le début :" en passant par l'Auvergne j'étais bien fatigué". Il semblerait qu'il ait pris ça à Ségurel. - plage 7 : la Yousca (appelée par ici aussi "le vent fou"). Sorte de marche à la mode au début du XXe siècle. - plage 8 : bourrée que je ne lui avais jamais entendue jouer !!!! - plage 9 : cet air est connu dans tout le coin comme un des airs les plus courant pour danser la carrée (la carrada) une des 3 formes de bourrées dece secteur (avec l'auvergnate et la giatte). Celui là est presque toujoursconnu avec les paroles : s'en iran pas tots , los garçons 'questa 'nada (avec ensuite des adaptations très locales) - plage 10 : polka piquée très connue - plage 11 : polka piquée connue elle aussi (comme la plage 9) sur toute la bordure nord du plateau. Avec souvent comme paroles "e qu'es ta chamba gaucha, bèla que te fai mau, ..." ou "ton chien belle bergère est plusgentil que toi, il me fait des caresses et toi tu ne m'en fais pas" (version d'Alfred Gasne de Néoux). - plage 12 : elle a un trou la marmite : c'est une polka piquée. Je n'ai entendu jouer ça que par eux. - plage 13 : bourrée. Manifestement prise dans le grand faitout des airs "du pays" plus ou moins de carte postale. - plage 14 : marche - plage 15 : la valse à Jacques (Thomas lui même l'appelait comme ça). Après avoir été pensionnaire à l'école privée Ozanam de Limoges, il s'est marié à Alice Legay, de la Chateneide, et y fut paysan toute sa vie. Bien que sa mémoire lui fasse parfois défaut, comme il le dit lui-même (il a notamment oublié les dictons et proverbes qu'il connaissait si bien), monsieur Noël fait ici l'effort de se remémorer pour nous quelques pratiques traditionnelles du temps jadis. Sur la bande 8978, l'émission "Chez Nous" telle qu'elle a probablement été diffusée sur les ondes de Radio Limoges le 25 mars 1961. Nous retrouvons Robert Dagnas sur le terrain, chez M. et Mme Thomas au bourg de Beissat (Creuse). Dans cet enregistrement, après le générique et une présentation (un peu écourtée !) de Beissat par Jean-Pierre Duprés, M. Thomas, sabotier et joueur de vielle, nous parle de son métier de sabotier, de son goût pour la musique... avec le concours de sa femme ils évoquent son surnom, "la Burette",  puis le dépeuplement du pays, son fils René parle de sa proximité avec son père (la musique, la saboterie et le conseil municipal). Cet entretien est ponctué de morceaux du répertoire local (enregistrés dans la cuisine, Eugène à la vielle et René à la cornemuse 16 pouces) ainsi que d'une chanson de Léon Branchet "Mos socs" (mes sabots) sans doute interprétée par Irène Besson (mais qui n'a pas été enregistrée à cette occasion).  Président du groupe folklorique « Los velhadors de Sent-Junian », Robert Dagnas a parcouru durant les années 1950-1960 les routes du Limousin, armé de son magnétophone, à la recherche de chanteurs, conteurs et musiciens du pays. Il animait, grâce à ces enregistrements, une émission hebdomadaire à « Radio Limoges ».  Ces bandes nous ont été confiées pour numérisation et diffusion par Françoise Étay, professeur responsable du département de musique traditionnelle au CRR de Limoges.
